Best Product of the Year 2017 – Kampmann product presented with award

The Katherm QK nano trench unit persuaded the PlusX Award judging panel.

The Katherm QK nano trench unit of the Kampmann GmbH receives the Plus X Award for Best Product of the Year 2017.

Small, smaller, Katherm QK nano

The Katherm QK nano is a trench heater that combines quality, functionality and design. In spite of its extremely reduced height and width of only 70 mm and 165 mm respectively, there is still space in the connection space for both valve and actuator.

Katherm QK nano trench heaters are used in buildings where trench heaters are not generally considered due to the lack of space. The optimum interaction of the silent EC tangential fan and high-output copper-aluminium convector produces a high heat output combined with low sound levels to create a pleasant feeling of warmth and comfort in a room.

Three different control configurations ensure the simple integration of the trench heaters into individual control concepts. The design of the Katherm QK nano is completed by the filigree FineLine grille with its colour-coordinated frame, leaving ample scope for the interior design of the space.

Kampmann succeeds in setting a tangible example with the PlusX quality seal, as a number of technically pioneering developments for heating, cooling and ventilation make Kampmann successful on the world stage.

Further awards

Last year the following products of the Kampmann GmbH were already awarded with Plus X Awards in different categories:

The PlusXAward

With over 130 members on the judging panel from 32 countries and a variety of industries, the PlusX Award is the world's largest innovation prize for technology, sport and lifestyle. The quality seals are awarded in seven different categories – Innovation, High Quality, Design, Ease of Use, Functionality, Ergonomics and Ecology. The prerequisite for an award is that the product must be of the highest quality, be functional and its design must be leading-edge. Product engineering focussed on users' needs is also important to the judging panel.
